What time do the tours begin?

Oxford walking tours commence promptly at the time stated on the book page. If you have already booked check the electronic ticket you have been emailed for further details.

Where can I park?

Parking is limited and expensive in Oxford City. Park and ride is the easiest way to get into Oxford by car. There are five park and ride sites located around Oxford's ring road, with regular bus services to the city centre.

It is easy to use. You simply park your car and use a bus to get to your destination.

Is the route wheelchair accessible?

Yes - Our Oxford Walking tour routes are generally flat and level, with a few cobble stones and narrow passages.

We expect a steady pace to be achieved to fit in with the schedule.

Are the tours family friendly?

Yes - Our Oxford Walking tour routes are suitable for all. However we do recommend that young children of toddler age are in a pram, or securely carried.

Do the tours run in bad weather?

Yes - Our Oxford Walking tour routes will run unless the conditions are so adverse they could be considered a health and safety risk. If this happens we will advise all registered attendees by email

What about Health and Safety?

All Wander Oxford walking tours are undertaken entirely at your own risk. Neither Wander Oxford or your guide accept any liabilities what so ever for any personal injury or material losses.

We encourage individuals of the Walking Tour to be aware of other Group Members and their needs. Please stay together, particularly in areas of high pedestrian traffic and whilst crossing roads.

Wear comfortable shoes. Some walking surfaces are cobbled. Wet weather conditions may make some surfaces slippery. Ensure your clothing is suitable for the day’s weather forecast and a steady walking pace.

If you wish to leave the Group prematurely, before the tour has finished then please inform your guide. We promote a light-hearted, friendly and casual tour group structure. Members that are abusive or intoxicated will be asked to leave the Group.
