It was lovely to hit the streets of Oxford again and tour a wonderful group from Switzerland.
Oxford is cold and snow is in the air, the city is still beautiful. Our Oxford tours do not start officially until March 1st 2018, but we are already hosting private groups.
This hardy lot braved the cold temperatures and were still smiling enough to allow me to take this photo of them standing on the steps of Oxford’s Clarendon building. We tried to get out of the cold wherever possible. This saw us inside St. Michael of the North Gate’s Saxon Tower for beautiful views of Oxford’s Dreaming Spires. We toured the recently refurbished Weston Library and the famous Bodleian Library Divinity School provided good escape from the biting winds. This delivered a good blend of historical facts and fulfilled the direct request of seeing Harry Potter filming locations.
I look forward to hosting many Oxford Tours and the weather getting warmer!
